iPhone update posted, fixes and improvements

April 9th, 2009 by Demian Turner

I just posted an update to our iPhone app at the AppStore, should go through pretty quickly, I hope ;-)

Here is a list of some important improvements we made:

  • All recent versions of iPhone firmware now valid, from 2.0 onwards
  • “1 click add task” implemented
  • New ’sync’ option in Settings, helps optimise slow connections
  • After changing login data user is redirected to first tab
  • Links handled more intelligently
    • URLs open in Safari
    • emails open in Mail app
    • Google maps URLs open in Maps app
    • phone numbers open in Phone app, if available
  • Tickbox tap area enlarged as per Apple guidelines
  • UI tweaks
  • Stability improved
